In a world loaded with social media and instant gratification it always seems to be a fact that the most successful people in the world, whether it's business or any worth while venture would suggest the common recipe for success is slow and steady. This often takes lots of time and patience. If you seek sustainable results then discipline and time are requirements. Media loves to publicize the quick rise to the top stories and dismisses the slow steady grind stories which are more common. Warren Buffet is noted as saying his favorite time horizon for holding any good stock is forever. If you need instant gratification then buy a lottery ticket. There should be an 11th Commandment that states "Thou Shall Not Pursue Short Cuts!"
