You just can help seeing the constant barrage of social media and have to wonder what did we do before this. Or more accurately, how did people make their brands viable. Since when did everyone need to be a brand anyway? Remember when a person was just a person? I think many people who are full time social media stalwarts are doing so because they seek to validate their own existence. I'm here, I matter, listen to me! You can have everything the world has to offer but if you do not have validation of your peers, what self worth do you have? Albert Camus one said " I think, therefore I exist." Google it. I think he was referring to the future social media dumpster fires that blaze everywhere today.
